To see these guys is a real experience. They bill themselves as shanty band, but they are much much more than that. Powerful harmonies and songs about life in West Yorkshire, and particularly about their home town of Halifax and the surrounding area of Calderdale. Add in some raw and sparse musical accompaniment, and their sound takes on a whole other dimension. We can’t think of a better band to play on such a special day as Remembrance Sunday….Not to be missed.
